About Sparks of Tomorrow Anime

Sparks of Tomorrow (formerly 20th Century Electricity Catalog | Japanese title – Nijisseiki Denki Mokuroku) is set in an alternate version of early 20th-century Kyoto, where steam power has developed while electricity remains unexplored.
The story centers on a young boy grieving the death of his brother, with whom he once dreamed of the coming “Age of Electricity,” and a young girl who lives a devout life while carrying admiration and regret toward her late mother. Their meeting is tied to the mystery surrounding the “Twentieth Century Electricity Catalog,” which becomes central to the narrative.
